Onboarding Leader - Treasury Management Services - Posted 5/23/2025
The Onboarding Leader is responsible for leading multiple onboarding and service teams, including team leads and people managers. The role oversees the delivery of a seamless onboarding experience for new Treasury Management clients while upholding high service standards. Key priorities include optimizing workflows, maintaining regulatory compliance, and working across departments to improve efficiency and the overall client experience.
What You Will Do
- Lead a Treasury Management onboarding and service organization
- Coach and develop multiple teams, including team leads and people managers
- Set performance goals, track key metrics, and drive accountability across teams
- Oversee onboarding for complex, multi-product clients, including those involving external vendors
- Optimize and standardize onboarding workflows for speed, scalability, compliance, and client satisfaction
- Resolve onboarding-related client issues and manage escalations to support satisfaction and retention
- Monitor inbound customer inquiries and service requests; identify and escalate recurring challenges
- Partner with product and operations to support new product launches and adjust onboarding processes
- Conduct reviews of client feedback to identify pain points and drive improvements
- Collaborate across product, compliance, finance, risk, and operations to streamline service delivery
- Establish and enforce best practices for operational efficiency and service quality
- Lead or support projects tied to onboarding transformation and performance improvement
- Serve as a strategic leader with potential to take over full ownership of the onboarding and service function.
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in client onboarding, implementation, or treasury services
- 5+ years leading teams, including managers or people leaders
- Experience in Treasury Management onboarding within a bank or financial institution
- Proven ability to lead client-facing teams handling both standard and complex onboarding
- Familiarity with onboarding risks, regulatory compliance, and confidential data handling
- Strong executive presence and communication skills; comfortable presenting to senior leaders
- Strategic and analytical mindset with a track record of process improvement and change leadership
- Business acumen and project management skills in fast-paced, cross-functional settings
- Proficiency in Excel and other reporting tools; quick to learn new systems
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions with minimal guidance
- Experience engaging stakeholders in matrixed environments and navigating organizational complexity
- Ability to balance operational execution with long-term scalability and customer satisfaction
